This scenic flight takes in the majesty of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau,and the power of the Swiss Alps like no other mountains. Vertical rock faces rising 13 000 ft (4000 m) out of the earth, their stark beauty can only be fully appreciated from above as you fly over their peaks and down into the south basin that forms the birthplace of the largest glacier in Europe, the Aletsch. The meeting place is the Scenic Air base in Reichenbach, where you will be greeted on arrival by our friendly staff. The pilot will acquaint you with Scenic Air's safety regulations upon boarding the aircraft. Shortly after take-off we pass over the sunny waters of the Lake of Thun, past Interlaken and over the Kleine Scheidegg. Here we enter a world of 13 000 ft (4000 m) high mountains, windswept ridges and permanent snow and ice. You will see such famous peaks as the Finsteraarhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, as well as the powerful ice stream of the Aletsch glacier.
